We are blessed with loving musical talent here at the DuPage Center of Religious Science. As our Music/Choir Director, Jen Chada, has shared her voice and her experience and her know-how and we are continuously delighted with each musical presentation she shares with us.

Jennifer Chada is a professional actress, singer and corporate spokesperson. She has sung everything from musical theatre and jazz to jingles and pop. She is also an award-winning cabaret artist with two critically acclaimed shows under her belt and has been featured at Davenport's; The Chicago Humanities Festival, and The Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention at Park West. In addition to major roles in Chicago area musicals, she was featured in the Nat'l Tour of “Scrooge” starring Richard Chamberlain and has sung alongside Patti Austin and jazz legend Jack Sheldon in Cy Coleman and Alan and Marilyn Bergman's only collaboration, “Like Jazz” at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles.

Jennifer's interest in New Thought music began with Unity in Chicago and followed with RSI under the ministry of the late Dr. Don Burt and now as Music Director alongside the amazing team of the Revs. Mary Beth and Michael Speer.

“There are so many wonderful New Thought composers out there today and some of my personal favorites are: Karen Drucker (www.karendrucker.com); Singer/Songwriter, Daniel Nahmod (www.danielnahmod.com); Founder of the Conscious Mile Spiritual Center, Rev. David Ault (www.davidault.com); Agape's Rickie Byars-Beckwith (www.agapelive.com); from The Dallas Center for Spiritual Living, Michael Gott (www.michaelgott.com); originially from Chicago and now in the Pacific Northwest, Laura Derocher (www.lauraderocher.com) and Chicago's own Megon McDonough (www.megonmcdonough.com) to name a few.

“My unique talent as music director for this creative spiritual center is my ability to interpret many styles of music by varied composers and express them with heartfelt honesty. The music here is a large part of our thriving spiritual community. I feel Blessed to be a part of it.”

Our Accompanist, Damian Espinosa is an accomplished pianist playing in such diverse musical settings as both a jazz leader and as a sideman, as a solo pianist, accompanist, for stage productions, operas, Second City, and even for a silent film.
His piano style combines elements of jazz, classical, rock, and latin. Currently, Damian is busy in many creative projects that range from traditional jazz, mainstream jazz, pop, funk, and avant-garde and also as a composer and arranger. He offers us music that gets our toes tapping, heads bobbing, and smiles glowing, all done Chicago-style.
